Programme Synopsis

As in most fast growing economies, India has a complex tax structure in place and new tax laws are proposed to be introduced in the next few years. Gaurav is a Chartered Accountant from Institute of Chartered Accountants in India (ICAI) and Bachelor of Commerce from the Mumbai University. 

Gaurav has more than 11 years of experience in Internaitonal tax and regulatory field. Gaurav has advised several large multinational companies on their cross border transactions from International tax perspective. He has advised clients on their entry and exit strategies in India including planning from Tax, Corporate laws and related regulations perspective including assistance in setting–up companies in India with the most optimal capital structure. Gaurav has extensive experience in dealing with clients in the Consumer Products, Pharma, Gems and Jewelery, Retail sector. Prior to Singapore, Gaurav was part of KPMG India Internaitonal Tax & Regulatory team for 10 years. Currently, he is on long term secondment with KPMG Singapore as India desk.
