Programme Synopsis

Transfer pricing adjustments have long been dealt with from the income tax perspective. However, transfer pricing adjustments may also give rise to GST implications and require adjustments to be made to GST accounts and reporting (including declarations to Singapore Customs for goods imported).

To provide guidance on this area, the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) recently published its first e-Tax guide on GST in Transfer Pricing Adjustments. In order to support members and the tax community, the Singapore Chartered Tax Professionals, together with IRAS, is bringing to you a live webinar that takes a closer look at the issues and latest updates on GST treatments in TP adjustments.

Beyond that, the webinar will also be delving into the area of Missing Trader Fraud (MTF) and the corresponding responsibilities that businesses should be aware of.

With the Q&A session at the end of the session, seize the opportunity to have your queries answered and doubts clarified by the IRAS team. Affirm your knowledge and rise above the uncertainties on GST treatments and implications of TP adjustments and MTF.

Programme Outline

  • Understand when Transfer Pricing adjustments require GST adjustments and how and when to make those GST adjustments
  • Protect your businesses from MTF and understand the implications for participating in a MTF arrangement
