In the past 12 months, technology solutions have been in the spotlight of the Singapore Chartered Tax Professionals to encourage everyone to continually think of adopting more technology into their firms’ processes and/ or tax functions. From automating tax using robotic process automation (RPA) to various accounting and tax solutions to file Form C-S seamlessly, to a hands-on RPA workshop and just last week a webinar on how generative AI technology such as ChatGPT can supercharge one’s work and business, the era of having technology as a colleague is very much upon us.

As businesses struggle with retaining staff, managing the human resource (HR) function well and effectively, from compliance to the various aspects of talent retention such as training and appraisals, has never been more important.

Skybots provides automation solutions for accounting, audit, tax, corporate secretarial and finance processes, helping companies in their digital transformation journey. These solutions involve using analytics and RPA to automate tedious and repetitive processes for companies to successfully achieve significant productivity gains.

Leveraging the systematic and detailed orientation approach of an auditor, Daryl – an accountant by training – now focuses his time in transforming businesses and at the same time, conducting RPA trainings and curating new training programmes in RPA to help businesses with RPA fundamentals to further supercharge their businesses. In addition, he also won the ISCA RPA hackathon in 2021.
